My daughter has been attending the YWCA Davidson daycare since she was 5 months old and she will be turning 5 in January 2010.

Every day my daughter mentions her friends and teachers at pre-school and how much she misses them during the weekends or when there is no school.

[She] often comes home with intriguing comments, demonstrations and questions on variety of things they learned at school. She also shows us different dance moves, songs in other languages, different culture and the art projects she accomplished at school.

I am also extremely impressed with the staff's ability to deliver and carry-out the values of the YWCA's Mission by teaching all students about respects, diversity, and equality at all ages starting in the baby room.

The Downtown YWCA is providing more than just childcare service for my family. The center is teaching my family important values such as to respect others as individuals and their culture; treat everyone fairly by helping others like they are your family.
